A rugby jersey works hard for 80 minutes. It gets pulled, ground into the turf, and soaked through. Here is how our jerseys handle it.
Quick-dry moisture control
Moisture is pulled from the skin to the fabric surface within seconds and evaporated. Players stay drier through both halves.
Tear-resistant construction
Polyester knit fabric with high elastic recovery resists tearing when grabbed. Seam strength is tested on each fabric batch before cutting.
UV protection (optional)
UPF-rated fabric treatment blocks ultraviolet rays during daytime matches and summer tournaments. Available on request.
Anti-bacterial treatment
Odor-control treatment reduces bacteria buildup in the fabric. Extends freshness between washes for teams on multi-day tours.
Temperature regulation
Cooling or thermal fabric upgrades match the playing climate. Lightweight 140gsm for summer, heavyweight 220gsm for winter rugby.
Anti-pilling surface
Fabric is abrasion-tested before production. The jersey surface stays smooth through slide tackles and repeated washing.
CONSTRUCTION

How we build a rugby jersey.

A rugby jersey takes more stress than any other sports top. We build ours accordingly.

Collar reinforcement
Dual-stitched collar construction resists the grab and pull of tackle situations. Available as traditional fold-over, V-neck, or collarless for sevens.
Shoulder and side seams
Reinforced flatlock stitching at the shoulders and sides prevents blowouts when a jersey is pulled in contact.

Fabric weight options
Lightweight 140gsm for summer and sevens. Standard 180gsm for regular season. Heavyweight 220gsm for winter rugby.
Sublimation print
Korean Inktec inks bond into the polyester fibers. The design becomes part of the fabric, flexing and washing clean for the life of the jersey.
